School Starts

Today is Abby's first day as a junior higher, 7th grade. I'm excited for her. I know she's very excited. It's a different experience for her... Rey & I are happy for her, seeing her grow, coming out of her shell. Hopefully she'll become more confident, sure of herself and just enjoying the different opportunities that she will go through. Of course as a parent, I'm quite protective of her and always on guard. I'm just thankful we are partners with her God-fearing teachers at BJ Junior High.

Citizenship

Dad became an American citizen yesterday. Oath taking was in Newark, NJ immigration office. God's amazing blessing, a dream come true for my dear dad. Way to go, dad!

Enjoyed a rare day off with Rey & Abby at Lake Jocassee yesterday. It was a beautiful day at the lake. A lot of families enjoying a 4th of July holiday like us were there, too. Here are some pics...

20th anniversary

"He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him." Psalm 145:19. God has blessed Rey & I so much. With one voice, we praise the Lord for His faithfulness and mercy. Truly He has fulfilled so many of our desires and answered so many prayers. "He alone work wonders." He gives us undeserved favors or benefits when we are not praise worthy. Apart from Him, we are nothing. "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it." Proverbs 10:22

I've stopped blogging for two years and now I'm inspired again. Hopefully I can keep up with this. Perhaps, I can write updates here every month. April is almost here. It's warming up nowadays and it's so wonderful. We've moved from Pelham road to a duplex near BJU. It's convenient for Rey & Abby especially when I take the car to work. They can just walk. We only use one car in order to be economical.

Bible Conference was last week at BJU. I was able to attend 3 days and what blessings I received! It's always refreshing to attend this conferences though it can be hectic and tiring. I took one day of vacation for it. Then, it's Easter next Sunday, I'm glad I'm off this time from work .
